Daubeney Middle School’s Year 8 students organised a selection of events to raise money for the Children in Need appeal organised by the BBC. They held a raffle, organised a cake sale, encouraged other pupils to pay so they could throw wet sponges at a teacher, and held a non-uniform day for the school. The raffle and cake sale raised £56 and overall the school raised £450.00.
Operation Christmas Child >>
Mrs Isted organised a ‘careers’ day for Year 8 students which proved to be very informative.
Mr Sansom organised a ‘bike surgery’ so that pupils had the opportunity to bring in their bikes to be serviced.
Twenty two Year 5 students took part in the Hastingsbury Upper school production of Joseph, which was a huge success.
Our year 7 and 8 Digital Photography Club goes from strength to strength and we are very proud to be invited to host an exhibition of our latest work at Project 229.  This will last a total of a month, covering the two weeks during the Easter holidays, plus the fortnight after this.
